Tulloch JYT Selection Shiraz 2007

Tulloch JYT Shiraz 2007

A blend of 95% Hunter Valley and 5% McLaren Vale Shiraz. No, I don’t know why. A powerful nose: cherries and raspberries, light plums, backed up by a fair whack of cloves. The palate is elemental really; there is fruit there lurking, appearing when you get some air into the glass, but it also shows a fair bit of acid too at the moment. A touch of spice too. Needs time, but could be very good, perhaps even excellent. 89++ points. 14.0% abv. Sealed under screwcap.
