Thomas Wines “Kiss” Shiraz 2006

Thomas Wines Kiss Shiraz 2006

A great depth of flavour on the nose, with light florals, liquorice, blackberries, liqueured cherries, earth, milk chocolate and some tar. There is also a hint of tin and animal hide which might upset some people. The palate showed red plums and blackberries, cherries, earth and some ginger, finishing dryly. A mouth filling wine, medium bodied, rich and ripe but not too sweet, probably more of a classic Hunter Shiraz. Needs a couple of years. Due for release in May 2008.
