Oliver’s Taranga Cadenzia Grenache 2006

Olivers Taranga Cadenzia Grenache 2006

Cherries and plums, spice and alcohol. The palate is full of life, Christmas spices and mixed berries, ebullient, liquorice ans sweet earth. There is a certain wildness to the fruit, a slippery mouthfeel and some sweetness on the finish. The upside is that there’s no nutty or cream oak. The (slight) downside is the warmth the wine possesses; now, it’s not hot, but a bottle of this will probably have you on your ear. Drink over the next few years.
