A recent release from the cellar door, along with the “Alexander Munro” Semillon 2004, and at the moment the more aromatically pleasing of the two. Though in the long run, the latter might be the better wine. Complex and subtle, with lemons, limes, minerals, lanolin, slate, wax and a touch of nuttiness and a sour pithiness. The palate is explosive, with an initial rush of flavours followed by a gradual decline into a long finish. Acid driven, intense lemon fruits, with some softer lemon and slate on the finish. Pure fruited and utterly delicious.

Linc is that a Riesling bottle?
Yeah, it is. And the Alexander Munro Sem is in a Bdx styled bottle
So what is the “correct” shape fr semillon? Not that it really matters.
Not sure. I suppose a Chardonnay shaped one?
Yeah I thought that was the Hunter idiom. Although go back to area of origin, and I think we’re back to a Bordeaux Blanc bottle.
Oh well. We while away our spare moments with such trivialities.
I will ask Garth why the different bottles for the AM and TerrorKotter wines
Spoke to Garth.
No reason for the particular bottle shapes for the particular wines, but different bottles so that they can be easily distinguished when they have no clothes on.
Garth is wise.
