Kalleske Pirathon Shiraz 2010

Pirathon by Kalleske 2010

Black fruits, plums and blackberries, nutmeg and cassia bark, vanilla. Not a lot of fruit on the palate, dry and charred in fact. And it finishes with some sickly jube like characters. 14.5% abv. Sealed under screwcap. Around $20 RRP…… And just as I’m finishing the bottle the next day, it appears to be blossoming. Fruits more to the fore, with a streak of savoury dry spices. Looking a lot better now. 88 points. Drink 2017+
