Happs Pinot Noir 2006

A museum release. Cork. $23 from the cellar door. 14.0% abv. A broad confected nose, caramel and old woody spices. The palate is pleasant, sweet red cherries, stewed rhubarb and some spice again. Medium bodied. Not much precision, and by that I mean it lacks acid and is flabby on the palate. Nor does it have any pretty and delicate florals that I like. More of a dry red, not that there is anything wrong with that. Drink now.
