Domaine A.-F. Gros Vosne-Romanée Aux Réas 2005

Cape Grim beef fillet – seared- pop in the oven for 4 hours @ 77degrees celsius- walk away and do other things.
Thanks to Dale Gartland – Shropshire lad from memory (executive chef at Cape Kidnappers).
Integrated dark astringent berries , hint of earth and funk and lovely spice- palate is harmonious soft fruits- it over delivers for me ..,,

    I thought you would hate the oak here. Maybe in 05 it can handle it.

    Oak kills me but this 05 didnt trouble me….

    I just read John Gilman’s reviews about 2010 Anne Gros. He says they are oaked to death and he caned her. Which is what I thought last October when I decided not to take them on.
