Dada 1 2007

A complex nose – so much happening here. If you see other reviews of this wine I bet there will be a whole swag of different descriptors. For me, there were aromas of gooseberries, meal and some lees, lemons and bitter herbs. The palate showed no specific fruit character, but does have sour lemons, citrus fruits and a touch of herbs. But the thing that impressed me was the freshness and lovely texture, rounded and focused, lightness with power and persistence, and most excellent length. Tremendous stuff. Well worth the bucks.

Nice review, thanks. Listed under Semillon though? I know it doesn’t say on the label which are the three varietals used, but semillon is not one of them. Keep guessing ;-)

oops, meant to hit “Sauv Blanc”…. probably still wrong though…..
