Curly Flat “William’s Crossing” Pinot Noir 2008

Curly Flat Williams Crossing Pinot Noir 2008

I cannot say I am terribly impressed with this one. Two bottles now, and both have shown dull fruits and stale spices on the nose. Strawberry and slightly unripe rhurbarb on the palate, thinly fruited and finishing with a touch of vinegar. Hmmmmm. If it was sealed under cork I would have said it was stripped. 92 points from James Halliday, which I don’t understand. Sealed under screwcap. 12.6% abv. Drink now. 84 points. $24 from the cellar door
