Clos Pierre Pinot Noir 2006

Clos Pierre Pinot Noir 2006

A cheapie from Dan Murphys. A lifted nose, light and airy, red cherries and cranberries, with a bit of spice and strangely orange peel that came and went with time. The palate is smooth and straight-forward, red cherries and a bit of sweetness, with some cranberry acid on the finish. Light- to medium-bodied in weight, displaying some pinosity and avoiding any faults. Excellent value.
