<p>I like half bottles of port as it will only take me 2 or 3 weeks to finish the bottle instead of a period of time that is measured in months.</p>
<p>Dry spirits on the nose, peat and raisins, smoky orange rind, quite spirity really. The palate is pure and delicately flavoured, raisins and dried currants bathed in wood spirit, faintly earthy and smoky, finishing with a pleasant roundness and just a bit of heat. Certainly not a style that will please everyone, but a pleasant diversion for me on the wine path.</p>
