Benevelli Barbera d’Alba “Bricco Ravera” 2006

Benevelli Barbera d’Alba “Bricco Ravera” 2006

Opened last night, and finishing it off with a light lunch today. Oozing savouriness, both on the nose and on the palate. Red cherries, dried mushrooms and dried herbs. Not any really rich flavours, but it is not austere either. No puckering tannins (which personally I really dislike). Some acid to cut through any fatty sauces. Dried spices, good length and a clean finish. 14.0% abv. Sealed under cork. 90 points. Drink now.
